This quote by Steven King is so true for me. As a child, I was an avid reader, and was constantly carrying magical worlds around with me. No trip was complete with a selection of books! The steampunk frame evokes old bookshops, the smell of paper, and the turn of the century, when mass market paperbacks were just starting to bring wonderful stories to everyone, not just intellectuals.

I've always been fascinated by mythology & fairy tales, which grew into a love of all things fantastical, including science fiction. I�m also fascinated by the gorgeous, intricate sand mandalas created by Tibetan monks, only to brush them away and start over again the next day. I also love kaleidoscopes, fractals, geometry, spirals, and nature. In 2013, I started working with colored pencils.
