Artist's Description
A flowing river of cosmic gases provides all the ingredients necessary for the birth of stars in this colorful design. I started this design by creating a watercolor background, but then enhanced it digitally to get the perfect depth of color and bright stars. This would look lovely as a solo piece, or get several of my galaxy designs to create a colorful grouping.
About Mary J Winters-Meyer
I've always been fascinated by mythology & fairy tales, which grew into a love of all things fantastical, including science fiction. I�m also fascinated by the gorgeous, intricate sand mandalas created by Tibetan monks, only to brush them away and start over again the next day. I also love kaleidoscopes, fractals, geometry, spirals, and nature. In 2013, I started working with colored pencils. One day, while relaxing with an adult coloring book that had a space theme, it suddenly occurred to me to take my love of mythology, science fiction, fantasy, and gaming and combine it with my love of geometric patterns with intricate detail and colors - and Tangitude Artworks was born.
