Summertime is for playing, flying and fluttering with your friends among the bright gardens. These 4 young dragons are taking a break among the winding vines of the morning glories before starting another game of chase through the garden.
This print is part of the Dragondala series in my minidala gallery. The series consists of 4 small mandala-syle designs, each representing both a season and a part of the life cycle for these small butterfly-winged dragons.
I've always been fascinated by mythology & fairy tales, which grew into a love of all things fantastical, including science fiction. I�m also fascinated by the gorgeous, intricate sand mandalas created by Tibetan monks, only to brush them away and start over again the next day. I also love kaleidoscopes, fractals, geometry, spirals, and nature. In 2013, I started working with colored pencils. One day, while relaxing with an adult coloring book that had a space theme, it suddenly occurred to me to take my love of mythology, science fiction, fantasy, and gaming and combine it with my love of geometric patterns with intricate detail and colors - and Tangitude Artworks was born.
