Description
The Celtic goddess Brighid is the patron of healing and crafts, as well as being a Mother Goddess. Her symbols include the Brigid's cross, wells, the triquetra, hawthorne and oak, the number 19, and spring flowers such as the crocus and snowdrop. The number three is also important in Celtic mythology.
I've always been drawn to Celtic artwork, and recently learned I have roots in this culture. I drew this design after reading about Brigid in a book on Celtic mythology. I intend to do more Celtic designs in the future!
