Symbols from various clans (and various points in history) in the Mandalorian culture from Star Wars are used to create a snowflake-like pattern in this mandala. The border is an alternating repetition of the familiar T-shaped front plate from the Mandalorian armor helmet. A colored version of this piece will eventually be available. (Note: This is a hand-drawn design, so printed image will have variations expected in hand-drawn and hand-inked art.) The title, Mando'ade Darasuum, roughly translates as "Children of Mandalore Forever".

I've always been fascinated by mythology & fairy tales, which grew into a love of all things fantastical, including science fiction. I�m also fascinated by the gorgeous, intricate sand mandalas created by Tibetan monks, only to brush them away and start over again the next day. I also love kaleidoscopes, fractals, geometry, spirals, and nature. In 2013, I started working with colored pencils. One day, while relaxing with an adult coloring book that had a space theme, it suddenly occurred to me to take my love of mythology, science fiction, fantasy, and gaming and combine it with my love of geometric patterns with intricate detail and colors - and Tangitude Artworks was born.
